In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year,
each member is asked to join one or more committees.
Name Chairs Description
Administration - By-laws and Regulations Recommends changes to Chapter by-laws and records changes as approved by the membership.
Administration - Communication, Site and Publicity Committee Oversees the website, facebook, newsletter and other aspects of club communications. Also manages the advertising program to announce Chapter events and programs and maintains the announcements section of the Club website. Provides news releases to media. The Committee will update members on portal use and flow of communication for proper dissemination of information for website, social media and newsletter posting and assist with same.
Administration - Membership Organizes and conducts programs to recruit new members and retain existing members.
Administration - Programs Traditionally chaired by the Incoming President, organizes programs for meetings.
Admnistration - House Committee Conducts support activities at venues where the club conducts meetings, meeting invocations and organizes club picnics. Collects monies and ensures that venues are properly compensated for meals and other expenses.
Children and Youth - Early Childhood Endeavor .
Children and Youth - Key/Builders Club Coordinates and ensures chapter support for Key and Builders Clubs for the East Penn School District and the Parkland School District.
Children and Youth - Miracle League Coordinates Miracle League Baseball games two times per year
Children and Youth - Miracle League Trick or Treat Night Works with the club, Parkland Schools and East Penn Schools to organize Trick-or-Treat night at the Miracle League.

Children and Youth - Scholarships Manages the Chapter scholarship program, including coordinating with the school district and recommending individuals to receive Chapter scholarships.
Community Services - Combined Coordinates special projects related to community activities. These include organizing the Emmaus Tree Lighting, the Warrior Project, Commemorative Garden Clean-Up and Road Clean-Up. Committee will make recommendations for the service projects and solicit volunteers.
Community Services - Easter Egg Hunt Organizes the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Community Park
Community Services - Special Needs Christmas Organizes the Special Needs Christmas party each year; purchases gifts, organizes volunteers, provides entertainment.
Fundraising - Annual 50/50 Drawing The 50/50 Drawing is held every year in September.
Fundraising - Community Days The Emmaus Kiwanis Club along with the Bon Ton Department store sells coupon books to raise money for the club.
Fundraising - Fruit and Pie Sale The Fruit and Pie Sale is held every year in November.
Fundraising - Pancake Festival The Pancake Committee organizes and plans all phases of the event - gathering sponsorships, advertising, auction items, venue planning including décor, budgeting and festival activities.
Fundraising - Putt-U Mini Golf Event Emmaus Kiwanis hosted its second annual Mini-Golf Event in September. The evening was a successful, fun family event.

Spiritual Aims - Good Friday Prayer Breakfast Organizes the annual Prayer Breakfast held each Good Friday.
Spiritual Aims - Welfare and Visitation Conducts visits of the elderly and Chapter members who may be ill to offer comfort and recognition.
